We are aware that shopping centers and malls offer a wide selection of leisure opportunities and entertainment. Many people are provided with endless possibilities to dine, to shop for different kinds of clothes, to go to the cinemas, and even enjoy special occasions such as sporting events and product launching. But recently, a short yet heavy rainfall plagued all the residents of Metro Manila. So, as a result of this natural phenomenon, it inadvertently pestered the mall-goers of Araneta Center’s Farmers Plaza in Cubao, Quezon City. The swift heavy rainfall brought a huge amount of water and it unexpectedly flooded the ground floor of the aforementioned shopping center.
